Under brilliant fall skies, Delco RRC hosted and directed another successful X-C championship meet for all the high schools in Delaware County. The meet was held Saturday October 5 at Rose Tree Park. Approximately 600 high school boys and girls participated in five races held over the challenging 5K course: Novice boys, JV girls, JV Boys, Varsity girls, and Varsity boys. The varsity race scores were the closest in the 56 year history of the event. The Haverford girls took top team honors by beating runner-up Strath Haven, 57-58.
